Eligibility:
Entry in the Great Floridian Ultra-distance Triathlon is open to individuals 18 years of age or older and two or three person relay teams. The Great Floridian Triathlon is an event designed for experienced triathletes only. The right to accept or reject any entry is reserved. Please be aware that there are several cut-off times during the event that all participants must adhere to. Failure to meet cut-off times will result in disqualification and removal from the course.
The minimum age for entry in the 2K-60K-15K Long Course Event is 15. The minimum age for the Super Sprint Triathlon is 8.
Confirmation:
All confirmation materials will be posted on GreatFloridian.com in advance of the race. Entrants will also receive a comprehensive confirmation email prior to the event.
Refund-Transfer Policy:
No refunds are available for any reason. You have the option to transfer your 2010 entry to another athlete. If you wish to sell your entry to another athlete you can post on the Triathletes Village Forum. The entry transfer is only valid for this season's race (2010) and a $25 administrative fee is required to complete the transfer. The entry form and the $25 transer fee must be received by October 1. NO ENTRY TRANSFERS FOR ANY REASON AFTER OCTOBER 1, 2010!
USA Triathlon:
The Great Floridian Triathlon is sanctioned by USA Triathlon. All participants must be a current member of USAT and show proof or membership or purchase a one-year or one-day license at check-in. All established USAT rules will be in effect and will be strictly enforced.
