In exchange we ask that your club helps promote the Great Floridian Endurance Festival via your newsletters, club website, calendar, Facebook, and Twitter. To sweeten the deal, we’ll even give your club a $25 cash back rebate for each new GFT Ultra entry that your club generates. If all you can muster is an entry in the Intermediate, that is cool, we will give your club $10.00 for each of those that your club brings to the table.

We invite your club members to experience the beauty of Clermont. It begins with a venue that was tailor-made for triathlons, Clermont’s Waterfront Park. Athletes start strong with an invigorating swim in Lake Minneola (designated as “Outstanding Waters” by the State of Florida). The bike course travels along the scenic “hills”, yes Florida has “hills”, on the countryside of Orlando. The hills present a challenging and rewarding race, hence dubbing our Great Floridian Triathlon as being “tougher than Iron”! The super spectator friendly, fast and mostly flat run is on the scenic South Lake Trail.

Your hard work is rewarded and recognized with festivities and activities designed to entertain participants and spectators alike. Bragging rights abound for finishers; Men’s Health Magazine (May 2012) awarded The Great Floridian Triathlon as one of the best triathlons in the country, and that was on the heels of Outside Magazine (May 2012) naming Clermont as one of the top training destinations in the country.

After producing more than 200 triathlons in Clermont, we’re proud to be the driving force propelling Clermont to the top of the Triathlon community. We did so by living our motto to Be Inspiring.
